Not that wax museums are the most popular things on the face of the planet, but if you know about any of them, you probably know about Madame Tussauds. Madame Tussauds has everything you would expect from a wax museum and then some. Sports stars. Film characters. Royal figures. World leaders. Cultural Icons. Musicians. Super Heroes. It’s all at Madame Tussauds. Well… now it is.
The making of Star Wars at Madame Tussauds London
When you think of people who have awesome jobs, you probably don’t think of wax museum curators and sculptors. After watching that video, the people at Madame Tussauds London might have the coolest job on this entire planet of Earth. In just 4 short minutes, they were able to show how tedious, challenging, meticulous and time consuming the process is, and most especially for Star Wars.
Straight off their website, Madame Tussauds London will display “16 of the most famous heroes and villains in scenes from some of the most iconic moments from the Star Wars universe.” These 16 characters will be showcased in 11 different sets depicting pin point movie scene accuracy. As stated in the video, some of the scene settings will be set up in an interactive fashion so you can be a part of the action and of course, take a selfie while you’re at it.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been building up my list of places to travel and bucket list sights to see while I’m there. Star Wars tends to be an on-going theme in my life, so I’m sure there’s no surprise when I say that the Star Wars exhibit at Madame Tussauds London just made my list in a big BIG way.
So what say you? Are you going to make the trek too? Have you seen Madame Tussauds London’s website and everything they offer? What other exhibits are up your alley? Hit up the comments and I’ll see you down there.
When I go to Madame Tussauds London, I’m going to be swarming social media with an onslaught of visuals from the Star Wars exhibit, so you’ll definitely want to link up with me on facebook, twitter and instagram to check it all out.
