When I first found out about Rancho Obi-Wan, it was like finding out you don’t have to die to see what heaven is like. The collection of Star Wars memorabilia is so big, both in size and quantity, so elaborate, and so visually rare, that I was positive there’s no way someone has a bigger collection than this (outside of George Lucas… maybe). To hear this guy say they have over 91,000 documented pieces but also know that number is probably only a third of what they truly possess… that’s mind blowing. THAT’S 300,000 PIECES!!! One things for sure, going to Rancho Obi-Wan before I die is 100% an absolute must. That’s a very high priority line item on my bucket list.
I couldn’t be more supportive of Rancho Obi-Wan and any award they clearly earn. There’s no better way to support something than to donate to it and be a part of the timelessness. I’m going to have to look through my own collection to figure out which ones are museum worthy besides the obvious… all of it.
