I haven’t posted a ton on the site lately. I apologize for that. Last month was absolutely nuts and this month is no better. May is insane for me. Jedi’s get busy in the spring. I had to put this up when I saw it, though. The Dark Knight saga has been off the charts with how good the movies have turned out. It seems like, if there were villains out there in real life, that were really as sinister and ruthless as they claim to be in comic book form, the way the films have portrayed them is pretty damn close to how it would be. Other comic book films have already taken notice and changed their format or rebooted altogether. Among those are Spiderman (which I’ve posted about extensively already), X-men, and the Hulk, in which Ed Norton and company’s performances eventually help set the scene and became apart of the cinematic equation for the upcoming Avengers movie. Even with these newer, darker, grittier, less fluff-filled, more true to life comic book movies out and setting higher standards for this genre of film, there are some still missing the mark. One thing is for sure… The Dark Knight films have not disappointed and from what we’ve seen already, I think we’re all in a agreement The Dark Knight Rises will surely follow suit.
