STAR WARS IS THE BEST THING EVER IN ALL OF EXISTENCE!!!
I get it. My family gets it. Most of my friends are coming around. I know some of my social media friends definitely get it. Hell, even the economy gets it!!!
Well now international governments are getting it. NASA’s new 6 man team of astronauts is made up of Jedi Knights and for the first time ever, the planet has its first team of protectors as a line of defense between us down on Earth and all intergalactic threats of the great beyond.
NASA Expedition 45
NASA’s Expedition 45 will unite in full on the International Space Station come September. I know what this may seem like. Force wielding warriors of extraordinary intelligence, together in a very exclusive space station, hovering over the planet while executing missions. You’re getting a little bit of a Death Star vibe, right? Well remember we’re dealing with Jedi, and not to overlap two sects of geekdom, I think it’s safe to say this is more like the Justice League in the Watchtower… which also had a very large laser cannon built into it.
On a more realistic note, being that this is the INTERNATIONAL Space Station, the team of astronauts breaks down like this: two from NASA, one from Japan, and three from Russia. For those of us not up on our simple math, that’s three major continents covered here.
