Defcon Unlimited is a German stunt-team and production company. They also have a bit of an affinity towards the geek-side. What’s not to like??? Beyond filming stunts, the performers themselves are incredible make up artists, costume designers, and choreographers. Pair all of that talent up with quality video production and you’ve got a really impressive team on your hands. The options at their disposal are as limitless as it gets with the amount of ideas/characters/franchises they could parody. All of this is really cool in its own right, but they caught my attention because they really like Darth Maul.
The first Defcon Unlimited video I came across was called “Mr. and Mrs. Sith” utilizing Darth Maul and Darth Talon to parody the very steamy domestic firefight turned sexcapade between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. If you don’t remember this post or haven’t seen it yet, stop everything you’re doing and hit the story below. Seriously, stop everything right now… SHE LICKS HIS LIGHTSABER!!!

Well Defcon has a new Darth Maul project in the works and even though I don’t speak German, that doesn’t hinder me from being able to see how awesome the final product could and ultimately will be. It’s Darth Maul against 7 other Jedi. George Lucas should take notes.
Defcon Unlimited’s New Darth Maul Lightsaber Battle Project
The difficult thing here is figuring out what the end game is for the video they’re promoting. The video above is almost a full year old, which almost certainly means the footage it is showing is a year or more old. I’ve looked on all of their social feeds and can’t find the finished fanfilm anywhere. If anyone out there reads/speaks German or even Defcon themselves if this happens to make its way to your eyes, the readers and myself are dying to know if this project has moved any further and what other Star Wars related projects you have coming up in the future. Either way, I’ll do my best to look further into the video.
