When JJ Abrams was announced to be the guy responsible for rebooting Star Trek, I wasn’t sure what to think. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Star Trek in general, but never hated any of the movies. Then again, I never went out of my way to watch them repeatedly afterwards either. I was blown away with what he did with the movie when I saw it. The best thing that he did for the franchise is make it appealing to more than just the geeks and die hard fans. i watched it with my buddy’s wife, who pretty much only loves Hello Kitty, and she liked it so much, she’s watched it with other people and watches it every time it comes on tv.
The next chapter, Into Darkness looks equally as awesome. More so, in fact. Seeing him knock Star Trek out of the park the way he’s doing, makes me more and more excited for the only true thing that matters in life…
…New Star Wars!!!
