Ok… so I’m not really the YouTube surfing type, but every now and then I take suggestions from my friends to watch random videos that they find. This is PSY and his song Gangnam Style, off of what apparently is his 6th album. When I saw this video, I felt like I slipped into a state of temporary insanity. The dancing is ridiculous, yet somehow still probably takes an abundance of talent to pull off. The scenes they shoot in are obscure to say the least. The acting is gestural and makes me kind of uncomfortable pretty much constantly. The entire video is in Korean so I have no idea what he’s talking about but then there are random bursts of English saying “hey sexy lady”. There’s also a part where he breaks into English for one line and says “you know what I’m saying”, to which I can honestly respond… no… I have no clue what you’re saying. This is pretty much what I would consider the Korean verison of LMFAO. Their videos also have that “what the hell is going on right now?” effect on me. Regardless… its entertaining.
All I have to say is… elevator scene.
